HEALTH

Health is defined in terms of Hobbies, Exercise, Aerobics (physical factors) and Lifestyle, Thinking, and Happiness (psychological factors) Husain and Khan (2012)

MENTAL HEALTH

This article focuses on the concept and definitions of mental health and also discusses the determinants of mental health in positive terms such as Meaning in Life, Emotional Stability, Nurturance, Temperament, Adjustment, Life Satisfaction as MENTAL; and Hope, Environment, Altruism, Lifestyle, Tension and Hardiness as HEALTH. (Husain & Khan, 2013).

Sehat(Health)

This model contains five factors of health. These are: Spiritual health, Eating and Drinking, Healthy environment, Avoidance of Infectious diseases and Abstention from harmful Substances, and Therapeutic interventions. (Husain, & Qayoom, 2020).

WELL BEING

Husain (2014) suggests few names of the dimensions of well-being. General well-being can be defined in terms of the biobehavioural and spiritual factors such as ‘Will-to-Meaning’, ‘Empathy’, ‘Liveliness’, ‘Love’, ‘Belief’, ‘Enlightenment’, ‘Inner Resource’, ‘Neural Substrates’, and ‘Gratitude’.

CAPACITY BUILDING

There are eight central aspects for understanding both concepts: Creativity, Access to Knowledge, Power, Accountability, Commitment, Industrious, Trust, and Yearning (CAPACITY) and Benevolence, Uprightness, Instructional Guidance, Leadership, Dispositions, Intellect, Nobility and Growth (BUILDING). Capacity building needs knowledge that gives access to these aspects of behaviour that guides teachers’ activities and gives direction to them (Husain, 2015)

CAPACITY BUILDING

This model is proposed to understand the concept of capacity building in relation to teachers. This model includes factors such as Creativity, Access to knowledge, Power, Accountability, Commitment, Industrious, Trust, and Yearning (CAPACITY), and Benevolence, Uprightness, Instructional guidance, Leadership, Dispositions, Intellect, Nobility, and Growth (BUILDING) (Husain, 2017).

HAPPINESS

can be conceptualized as an outcome that reflects the conditions in a person’s life. The authors suggest that happiness may be defined in terms of certain psychological factors, namely, Health, Attributional Style, Positive Thinking, Positive Emotions, Interpersonal Relationships, Nature, Extraversion, Social Support, and Self-esteem. (Husain & Zehra, 2015)

HAPPINESS

Essential elements of practicing happiness-- Healthy Heart, Activity/Action, Positivity, Pleasurable Experiences, Intellect, Nonattachment, Environment, Success, and Subjective Well-being (Husain & Faizee, 2024).

EXCELLENCE

An analytical model of EXCELLENCE is suggested which endorse the relationship between excellence and Education, excellence and Knowledge (X Factor), excellence and Challenge, excellence and Enrichment, excellence and Life goals, excellence and Learning, excellence and Enlightenment, excellence and Needs, excellence and Creativity, and excellence and Equity. (Husain, 2015)

YOGA

Yearning, Observances, God-consciousness, and Abstentions and Awareness (Husain, 2016).

Husain (2016) classified consciousness into the following types

SPORTSPERSON

Husain and Anas (2016) discuss the essential qualities to become a skillful sportsperson. The qualities have been identified and understood from the ‘SPORTSPERSON.’ They are

FLOURISHING

can be understood with a new analytical approach via freedom, Life Satisfaction, Outgrowth, Unconditional Love, Relationships, Inner Strength, Social Support, Hope, Inspiration, Nobleness, and Good Action (Husain & Nazam, 2018).

FLOW

Feedback, Life Satisfaction, Optimal Experience, and Well-being (Husain & Nazam, 2018).

FORGIVENESS

can be understood as Faithfulness, Obedience, Rumination, Good company, Intention, Values, Extraversion, Nature, Emotions, Sincerity, and Sacrifice (Husain & Nazam, 2018).

GRATITUDE

Generosity, Reciprocity, Almsgiving, Thankfulness, Intuition, Transcendence, Unity, Divinity, and Experience (Husain & Nazam, 2018).

HOPE

Happiness, Optimism, Perseverance, and Emotion (Husain & Nazam, 2018).

OPTIMISM

Order, Performance, Thinking, Intrinsic motivation, Mental Health, Intraception, Self-efficacy, and Meaning in Life (Husain & Nazam, 2018).

RESILIENCE

Recovery, Eustress, Self-Efficacy, Inner Strength, Life Skills, Insight, Emotional Intelligence, Needs, Causal Attribution, and Emotional Processing (Husain & Nazam, 2018).

STRENGTH

Silence, Tolerance, Relationships, Endurance, Non-Violence, Goodness, Truth, and Happiness (Husain & Nazam, 2018).

WISDOM

Will to meaning, Intellect, Spirituality, Divine Quality, Optimal Maturity, and Meaning in Life (Husain & Nazam, 2018).

SOCIAL SUPPORT

Structural Support, Others Support, Community Support, Informational Support, Affective Support, Life Support, Spiritual Support, Unconditional Support, Parental Support, Perceived Support, Organizational Support, Received support, and Tangible Support (Husain & Nazam, 2018).

SOCIAL SUPPORT

Thirteen types of social support are considered in relation to prevention of elder abuse. They are

MEDITATION

Mindfulness, Enlightenment, Divine Connection, Invocation, Transcendence, Attention, Transaction, Inner Enrichment, Optimal Experience, and Non-Violence (Husain & Hasan, 2019).

WOMEN EMPOWERMENT

One responsible way to explain the phenomenon is with the acronym, Will power, Optimism, Morality, Emotional poise, Need for approval, (WOMEN) Education, Mental health, Perseverance, Open-mindedness, Work-family-life balance, Emotional intelligence, Responsibility, Motivation, Equality, Nutrition and Thoughtful (EMPOWERMENT). (Husain & Jamal, 2019)

STRESS

Husain and Rahman (2019) have made an attempt to conceptualize stress as a stimulus, stress as transaction, stress as a response, environment as a source of stress, social factors as the cause of stress, and spiritual distress.

STRESS MANAGEMENT

Managing stress is the goal of everyman. Here we suggest that psychospiritual strategies, namely, Social Support, Temperance, Reading Scripture, Emotions and its Control, Stress Inoculation Training, Spiritual Practices, (STRESS) Mind, Activity, Novelty-seeking, Attributional styles, Gratitude, Experience, Meditation, Eradicating Desires, Needs and Thoughts (MANAGEMENT) are continuously influencing our coping behaviour or we are being influenced by these psychospiritual strategies. (Husain, 2019)

MORALITY

Moral Reasoning, Orderliness, Rectitude, Action, Livelihood, Infinite Power, Truth, and Yen

ETHICS

Psycho-educational Factors Linked with ethics are—Education, Truthful Living, Heart, Inner Values/Qualities, Conduct, and Selfishness.

VALUES

Within personal world, one can create any concept related to values such as Valence, Attitude, Life pattern and circumstances, Understanding behaviour, Enduring belief, and Societal norm. Types of values

IDYLLIC Personality

Factors of idyllic personality are -- Indelible faith, Determination, Yearning, Loving, Lucidness, Integrity, and Contemplation (Husain, 2024).

ALIENATION

Factors of alienation are

Communion, Overcome Fear, Vital Signs, Infections at Bay and Direction to Life in Coping With Covid-19. (Husain, A., & Pervez, R., 2021).
